Rude Health - A Festival of New Music

  • King Charles Court, Royal Naval College Trinity Laban Greenwich, London UK (map)

An exploration of perception, thought and consciousness.

There are these two young fish swimming along, and they happen to meet an older fish swimming the other way, who nods at them and says, ‘Morning, boys, how's the water?’ And the two young fish swim on for a bit, and then eventually one of them looks over at the other and goes, ‘What the hell is water?’
David Foster Wallace, This is Water, 2009

As individuals, how do we perceive the world around us? Is this always a conscious decision?

Join students from Trinity Laban’s composition department as they explore the concept of ‘the self’ and how they relate to their surrounding environment in an immersive, eclectic and surprising evening of new music.

Rachel will be part of the chorus performing "Palimpsest" by Georgia Bowden

Later Event: December 15
